Vehicle Description
SL600 is one of those cars you have to experience to undersatnd why Mercedes built it . They already have a 495 HP SL55 , and for another $20,000 you get the SL600 with the same power but about 40% more torque. That translate to an entirely different ride, the even firing order of the V12 is so smooth you wonder if there is a electric motor under the hoodm but the monster torque makes this car accelerate like it is tied to a big rubber band; always ready to pull as hard as you can imagine. That is why various tests have shown that the SL55 or SL63 goes from 0-60 in about 4.5 while the SL600 can do the same sprint in about 3.4 to 3.8 second which in real time means the other car cannot even read your license plate number at the end of that sprint!!!!!!
Other niceties is that since this is the more luxurious of the SL series, it include Napa leather, Alcantara headliner, wood steering wheel and trim. Hot and cold seats with massage, upgraded Bose stereo with CD changer, voice operated sound system, sat radio, ipod adaptor for audio and video, navigation, xenon lights, power everything.
But wait!!! then we added back up camera, dvd player integrated with the nav screen, AMG front and rear grill and AMG exhaust making this look exactly like the $200 large SL65. But wait!!!! there's more !!! ( i am sounding like that ginzu knife guy now ) we added even more! How about 20 inch forge aluminum wheels with 295 rear tires for that extra traction so all that torque can get to the ground making this more on the 3.2 second side instead of the SL65's 4.2 second due to traction and limiter. What limiter? you ask, well we did away with that too with the RENNTECH ECU upgrade and TCU upgrade that now gets 625 HP and 750 Lbs of torque well exceeding that of the SL65. Top speed is now mind boogling 185MPH! All the while in total comfort and control and Mercedes quality and safety, now that is what i call total sport luxury!
There are still more extras! Euro clear center stop light, smoked reverse lights, factory wind blocker, window tinting, trickle charger and deck lid spoiler. To finish off with this classy ride, factory alcantara instrument bezel is fitted ( see picture, no vinyle cover over the speedometer like stock 600). That is the level of attention this car got!
Perfect paint, one year warranty on Renntech upgrades as we are a licensed Renntech dealer. Smoke free, perfect carfax history with all service done for another 6000 miles and all service record available for serious qualify buyers and oh one more thing...and this is an important one ...it is under the Mercedes Certified preown 7 year 100,000 mile warranty till feb 2013 with just a $100 deductible so there is nothing to worry about. let's face it these are very expensive cars so you want to be totally protected and we got that covered. 10 year financing or leasing are available so don't hesitate to ask .
