Every once in a while when handling mere high performance exotics gets a little mundane at Royal carriage; we dream of a rocket ship. Our dream becomes a reality with this ballistic missile. It started life as a mere 493HP, 590 Lb torque twin turbo V12 Mercedes SL600 ( that cost $140 large and goes from 0-60 in 3.8 sec ). Then with the addition of the $13290 Renntech engine ,transmission upgrade ,turbo intercooler upgrade and full 3 piece carbon fiber air box upgrade just for the parts and another $9000 for the 20 inch Renntech billet forge aluminum wheels and $1860 for the lip spoiler to keep the car earth bound at 200MPH. We have discover a stealth fighter that can hardly be distinguished from the generic Mercedes yet have more power than the Ferrari 599 or the Mucielago! This is what separate the serious enthusiast from the weekend warriors. This is 650HP and 785 lbs of torque at just 2000 RPM!! Let me put it this way, this car has 3 times the torque at half the RMP than a pedestrian SL500. This will make the sporty SL55 whimper like a lost puppy, as it has almost 40% more power and 50% more torque than the supercharge v8 Mercedes SL55. This will even make the Mercedes top dog SL65 eat crow as it is bound by limiter and governor which constantly interrupt the fuel delivery that this no longer have to deal with as it has a much better transmission shift point that is matched to the torque curve of the new found power plant. Right up until now, The SL55 owner felt like the king of the hill, then this shows up and his hill just became a pile. His day is shot and he is going home with that defeated look to kick his dog.
Sure there are a few cars with more power and few that even accelerate faster. But none and i repeat NONE can be driven everyday with total comfort, smoothness that this Mercedes can dish out in abundance. This have seats that not only heats and cools your back side, it even massages when desired and never will it ask for jewelry! It will carry your golf clubs or 6 bags of grocery and never expect a tip! And when the sky is blue and temperature is right, it will gladly remove it's top just for your pleasure, now should you find that elsewhere , i assure you your attorney will advice you it will cost considerably more ......We are well aware that all that power without traction is nothing and the stock tires are just not enough to cause the earth to rotate a little faster when you step on the gas of this nuclear device, so it is increased to 305 mm in width as oppose to the stock 285 that would simple smolder away when you engage this thermal nuclear device disguised as an engine under the hood. Also the transmission is reprogrammed to change the shift points for a better response and smoother shift to make better use of all this thrust without causing whiplash. Passing is now declared stress relief exercise as this car can actually burn rubber at triple digit speed!
This particular car is equipped with navigation, ventilated seats, wood steering wheel and walnut accent, sat radio, voice command stereo, xenon light, alcantara roof liner, blue tooth, keyless go, cd changer. It's paint is near flawless and interior like new . It has no accident history and is carfax and autocheck certified with buyback guarantee.
