This is about as close as you can get to a showroom new car as i have ever seen. Sure it is not hard to do when it is only driven 8000 miles but it was carefully driven and shows no door dings, no paint chips, no curb rash anywhere. Books, both keys, Brand new floor mats, tools are all present. Base price of $106,900 plus Designo diamond white metallic paint ($795), 19 inch sports wheel ($2000), ginger beige/espresso brown leather ($900), wood and leather steering wheel ($590),premium package that includes not and cold seat, panorama roof,dynamic seat, massage seat, navigation with premium sound, sat radio, power trunk closer, rear camera, park assist, key less go and the wonderful air scarf neck warmer plus soft close doors ($450)   makes this a $112000 car just a few miles ago. Also A service just performed and cabin air filter replaced by dealer a few weeks ago so it need nothing at all other than a happy driver!

This new generation SL is much lighter and it shows in the way it handles, gone are the old tank feel and the response to your steering input is immediate but not jarring. New transmission has more gears and shifts faster so all that twin turbo power is put to very good use. This car is as quick as the old Sl55 or SL63 and frankly handles much better and with better sound system and noise isolation. All in all a better car in every respect as we would come to expect from Mercedes.
