    If Ferrari married Lexus, this would be the offspring, Mercedes INVENTED the luxury sports car category and no one have ever manage to even compete with it. ( can we say Cadillac Alante', Lexus SC430, BMW ugly 6 series) have all failed to take the crown in this category. The SL600 is the epitome of Mercedes personal luxury statement, with performance in the Italian category and luxury that is class setting. Things like folding hard top ( invented by Mercedes ) , voice activates stereo, massage and ventilated seats, Panorama roof ( sunshine should not equal coif redo! ), traction control, ABS, 4 billion way adjustable seats, power open and closing trunk, self closing doors, sat radio, cd changer, navigation ,keyless go ( so you don't have to dig through that bag of cash to get to the key) and the greatest invention since cruise control is the Mercedes DISTRONIC which actually will slow and speed the car up without you even having to reset the cruise control, so your in car yoga session will not be interrupted! Park distance, AMG sport package with front and rear bumper and side skirt enhancement and paddle shift pretty much rounds out the LONG list of options......................

 

        Then we have books, mats, cd magazine, cargo nets, wind blocker are all there.            ................................................ Well we can never just sell you a run of the mill SL600 now can we. SOOOO there goes the engine computer retune by well renowned Renntech that increase it to a earth shaking 635 HP! Then we have Renntech reprogram the transmission computer to match the shift point more precisely to the new found power and added manual shift mode using the factory paddle shifters. With all that increase in power, we also need to make sure there is clean burn meaning more oxygen, that is why an intercooler pump with about 3 times the flow capacity is also added for better combustion and engine reliability. But all that power with those factory tires are jsut not going to do it, so we added the best Forge aluminum 2 piece 20 inch wheels from Carlsson of Germany with super traction pirelli 305 tires in the back  and 19's in the front for the sportier look. So now when you stab on the gas, you are in the next time zone...right now!
