Premium condition low miles Maserati's are getting harder and harder to find and the ones you see are accumulating more and more miles. That is why with great pleasure i present this ultra low mile 2004 Maserati coupe with the very rare Rosso Bologna Metallic finish and Cuoio tan leather interior. With just 9500 miles there really is not much history to mention. Few things of note are one owner, perfect history as can be seen here with the free report. Non smoker, and a very high autocheck score of 95. When these cars are purchased used, a few things to always be mindful of. one is that it is one owner, reason being Italian cars are somewhat eccentric and that is why we like them. That also means it takes a little getting use to and when a car have 4 or 5 owners, it always means it was abused ( unintentionally ) by many owners before anyone learn how to drive them. The number one replacement part on the car is the reverse switch, not because it is made poorly but because when you don't know how to use it, you break the little tabs inside and throw away $1850 in the process! well you get the idea and that is why the single owner car commands more as it should. If you are really stretching to get a Maserati, just be careful. There is no car more expensive than a bargain Maserati as you will soon become great Friends with the dealer, well you will be paying their light bill for sure. Second thing you want to pay attention to is that the car was not financed. Reason being maserati's are some of the most expensive cars on the road to buy and when you can afford to just write a check for it, it always means you are not going to skimp on service and care. When you are just making that 4 year lease payment , you know you have no responsibilty at the end of 48 months so why would you spare no expense taking care of it? Simple logic but many miss that and pay dearly for that oversight.
Enough of that, let's talk about the good stuff, 2004 is the first year they reprogram that transmission computer so it shifts much quicker and smoother. Clutch life is greatly extended as a result. From my many dealings, it seems the 2004 and newer have about a 36000 mile clutch life as oppose to a 15000 mile clutch life for the 2002-03. Well with just 9500 miles and one owner, there really is not much to be concerned about. Wheels have no curb rash and michelin pilot sport ultra performance tires have about 15000 miles or 60% tread( all 4 tires measured to ahve between 5 to7/32 tread). Alignment is right as is wheel balance. This car have the ball polish wheels, painted brake calipers( gloss black ), auditorium 200 sound with CD changer. Xenon lights with headlight washer, cruise control. Leather roof with optional door panel and trim upgrade. It also have the rare briarwood trim package with door trim and wood steering wheel. All books, nav disc, factory contrast trimmed mats, and both remote keys plus valet key are also present as well as tool box and tire inflator. All in all a very well optioned cars and let's not forget the most desirable $2800 skyhook suspension. MSRP was a tad over $100,000 and with this mileage and history it is more like a dealer demo than a used car. Overall condition is in one word IMMACULATE and a custom clear bra was installed on the bumper, hood and mirrors which accounts for why the frontal area looks brand new even for a 9800 mile car. so at a 60% discount and little to sacrifice, i say this is one heck of a bargain!
Thanks for looking and happy motoring!!!
